Nexus 5 One Week On

Day 222 Nexus 5


After my first week with my 32gb Nexus 5 here are some initial thoughts compared to my previous phone Samsung Galaxy S2. Nothing major to complain about.

Likes
  • Camera App and its better integration with Google Plus and on phone picture editing.
  • The screen is very good.
  • Feels very fast, good response in switching apps, swiping between screens and scrolling.

Dislikes
  • You can assign custom ringtones from Google Play Music, had to resort to a third party app to get ringtones assigned.
  • Alarm has some functionality removed like the smart alarm "soft" wake up.
